 Free Family History Training-Stay Tuned
Completely new family history training is being developed and will be presented at no charge during RootsTech. Consultants, center directors, priesthood and youth leaders, and anyone with a family history related calling are invited to attend these free training sessions. These classes will not only be informative, they will inspire you as you fulfill your calling in the work of salvation.

A Conference for Everyone-With New Classes Specifically for Members!
RootsTech 2013 truly has something for everyone, whether you are an avid genealogist, just getting started, or simply want to discover the latest technologies and solutions to better connect with your family. Session topics are geared toward a general audience, but in 2013 there will be several classes in the new Getting Started track specifically for LDS Church members (including starting your family tree and preparing names to take to the temple).

Lunches and Special Events
During RootsTech we offer special lunches and evening events to maximize your conference experience. These events are optional, but space is limited and tickets are required.
Additional food vendors will be available on-site at the Salt Palace. And, with the opening of City Creek, there are now many food establishments within walking distance.
Parking
There are several parking plazas located fairly close to the Salt Palace and downtown, including at the new City Creek Center.
